Colin Thomas

Ex-Reading league player Colin Thomas, also affectionately known as 'Taff' has passed away at the grand old age of 95.  

Colin played mainly in the lower divisions, firstly for Kentwood, before moving to The Pangbourne Club for the majority of his table tennis days. He played in a carefree, determined and sporting fashion and earned himself the accolade of the Harold Larcombe trophy in 1986/87. His final game was in 2013, bringing his career to a close at the age of 84.

Colin was a big fixture at The Pangbourne Club and Purley Social Clubs and is fondly remembered by those who knew him.
