The Lower Divisions Knockout Cup is open to all teams registered in Divisions 4 and 5.

Competition Format will again be a straight Knockout but with the losing teams posting the best results re-entered. Only two teams will therefore be eliminated in round One
Match Format will again have all 9 sets in each match being doubles sets but with the option of featuring from three to six players on each side, with any individual player restricted to a maximum of two pairings. Please note that each set will be best of 3 [not 5] games, with games being up to 11 points as in league matches

The draw was made yesterday evening by Dave Edwards and Dave Smith both members of last seasons victorious Tidmarsh 'D' side and therefore current holders of the trophy. 18 Teams entered in total and will all play in a nine match first round. The nine winning teams will then be joined in round two by the seven teams having the best losing result. This will be determined by sets difference, game difference and finally points count back.
