Division 1 Shield, Sunday 22 Jan 2023

The Division 1 Shield was played on Sunday last at Burton.  There was some wonderful table tennis, all played in a good friendly spirit.  My thanks to the four teams who played.

The results were as follows:

Winner:  Natland B, 3 wins (Peter Leahy and Chris Martin)

Runner Up:  Burton B, 1 win  (Bob Quick and Dave Hewitt)

3rd place:  Burton A2, 1 win  (Chris Knowles and Mike Armishaw)

4th place:  Burton A1, 1 win  (Peter and Stephen Baxendale)

The three teams on 1 win each were ranked as above in order of best points difference.
