Congratulations to Burton A (Peter and Stephen Baxendale), who won the Div 1 Shield on Sunday. They narrowly beat Crook B (Mike Taylor and Phil Swift), who were runners up. Both teams won three matches, but since Burton A beat Crook B (by only 6 points) in their head to head match, Burton were declared overall winners.

Divisional Shield Reminder (Handicapped, teams of two)
The Divisional Shield this year will be held as follows:
Div 1 Shield: Sunday 23 Jan 2022, Burton Memorial Hall, 09.00 to 15.00. Teams entered are Burton A, Burton B/C (one joint team), Natland A, Natland B, Crook A, Crook B. Event organiser Mick Taylor.
Div 2 Shield: Sunday 30 Jan 2022, Natland and Oxenholme Village Hall, 09.00 to 15.00. Teams entered are Burton E (possibly), Grayrigg, Natland C, Natland D, Crook C, Dallam. Event organiser Peter Leahy.
