Dogfight at the top of Division 2

The top of Division 2 of the Kendal & District Table Tennis League is turning into a dogfight. Following Burton B’s surprise 7-3 victory over Dallam B, 3 teams, Natland D, Burton B and Burton D, are tied at the top, all on 39 points. Dallam B’s Paul Gosling was defeated for the first time this season, by Burton B’s Bryan and Shelley Rhodes, who were both unbeaten in their 7-3 victory. This should make for a very interesting second half of the season.

The resurgence of Burton C continued with a 7-3 victory over Kirkby Stephen A. James Burton produced another man of the match performance, defeating both David White and Andrew Leach, and was ably supported by Simon Gregory and Jack Wheelhouse.

In Division 3, both Grayrigg and Kirkby Stephen B remain unbeaten.
