MAIDSTONE AND DISTRICT TABLE TENNIS ASSOCIATION

OUR POTTED HISTORY

Founded in 1919 the MDTTA is now in its 96th year.

The MDTTA is third oldest in the UK, after Plymouth, Sunderland and Exeter, then we share third with Bristol.

The MDTTA is one of thirteen leagues in Kent. By player participation Maidstone is third largest of these.

Kent is itself the fourth largest in the UK, measured by the number of leagues in a County.

The MDTTA had 8 divisions in the 1980's.

Maidstone has a rich history of which to be proud, handed down as a legacy for us to nurture by very many, many volunteers who have helped in the running of the organisation over all those decades and the players who have participated in its league activities.
