A final reminder for all players that the closing date for entry to the M&G Investments Chelmsford & District Table Tennis League Closed Championships is this Friday, 15 December 2017. Entries must be sent to the Tournament Organiser, Arthur Clark, on line or directly. The event takes place at Hylands School, Chelmsford over the weekend of Friday to Sunday 03 to 05 February 2018. The qualification criteria for entrance to the tournament for Division 1 registered players has been amended and applications will be accepted from Division 1 players who have played at least 2 Chelmsford League or Cup matches by the entry deadline of 15 December 2017. This amendment has been made to reflect the lower number of qualifying league games in Division 1 prior to the entry deadline (7) compared to the available league games in Divisions 2 to 5 (9). The number of qualifying games for players registered in Divisions 2 to 5 will remain at 3.

No allowance will be made for postponed matches for which players were available or matches to be played after the entry deadline in applying the 2 or 3 match criteria. Matches must have actually been played by the 15 December 2017 deadline to qualify.
