It is with great sadness we share the news of the passing of Daphne Baines on Friday, 3rd January 2020
Our deepest sympathies go to Marcus and Tracy.
Daphne was one of our most leading lady players since the formation of the North Herts Table Tennis Association in 1964, representing NHTTA and Hertfordshire County for many years and winning many County and local titles.

Mum's funeral was on Tuesday 28th January - 12 noon at North Hertfordshire Memorial Park & Crematorium (just outside Ickleford) then to The Plume of Feathers at Ickleford for sandwiches etc.
Daphne played and watched many sports throughout her life but table tennis was right at the top of her list. She also very much enjoyed a Mackeson stout before her matches!
If anyone wishes to make a donation(s), then these will be split between the Stroke Association & Dementia UK charities, and can be sent to Chenery's Funeral Directors in Hitchin.
