The Bristol Junior League is open to all players under 18 years of age or any ability. The primary aim of the Junior League is to provide the opportunity for young people to actively participate in competitive table tennis with players of similar age.
The Bristol Junior League was established in 1997/98 and over the years has increased in size from a modest beginnings.
The matches are played on pre-arranged mornings (currently Sundays) during the Senior League season. Currently Bristol Academy is used as a venue to accommodate the matches and all of the teams will have matches on each of the designated match days.
If you would like more information about the Junior League then please contact Mike Withyman on the above number or any of the coaches specified below.
The object of the coaching scheme is to encourage more players to play league table tennis and to improve their playing standard. With this in mind the scheme is primarily aimed at the coaching of junior players, however, senior players requiring advice or training are equally welcome to contact coaches.
All coaches are encouraged to work with their local council's (Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucester) Sports Development Teams via the BT Top Sports programme, giving access to training, equipment and police checks.
