Automatic Renewals

Around 180 Bristol players were set up for automatic renewal. There were reports at the meeting that the automatic renewals have taken more than one payment for some players. Players who used automatic renewal are advised to check that the correct amount has been paid.

Direct Debit/Automatic Renewal

We can see several players who are in a pending payment condition. The TTE videos suggest that clearance of direct debit may take 3 to 5 days but many are much longer than that.  We can only see that there is a delay not what the cause is.

Player Registration Status List

We will be sending lists of players with their registration status to the clubs once we have loaded players to their teams but the loading is only just getting underway. The player loading to teams is a big task that we do not want to delay until September. We need draft team lists now.

We are already seeing new players only joining their club on Sport80 and not the league. We will eventually get these players sorted but failing to join the league adds to our workload.

The big concern is players who do not join either club or league. It will not be possible to assign these players to teams without additional work and chasing the player. Identifying these players will not be possible until we have been provided with the team lists. This is why we need the team lists sooner rather than later. We recognize that clubs may swap players between teams before the start of the season so draft team lists are fine at this stage. Once the player is assigned then swapping them to another team before the season starts is easy.
