Mark Tanner, in his role as founder and for running Keynsham TTC, was honoured with an award on 20 April from Keynsham Council for his contribution in promoting table tennis and sport within the Keynsham Community.   Congratulation Mark !

Mark's response to this recognition:

"It was a really unexpected award and having people in Keynsham voting for me makes it even more special. I never imagined that I'd be running a table tennis club but since I started Keynsham TTC as a social club back in the summer of 2017 I've enjoyed every second of it! Being able to share this great sport with different ages and faces is fantastic.

Whatever level people choose to play at there is always a smile on their faces. It's been a bonus to help accelerate players into Bath and some in the Bristol leagues. Key Centre is our unofficial feeder club and it's enabled us to create a promotion winning C team.

The next steps are to form a D team next year - help support our talented teenages into playing in more local/national events - sustain Bath Premier status for the A team - grow out social channels and YouTube - and most importantly keep smiling whilst playing!"

Keynsham TTC meet every Thurs evening throughout the year at The Fear Hall in Keynsham High Street. 7pm-9pm - members are £5 and non members are £6 - annual membership is £15 for 12-months and bulks of 10 or 20 sessions are available.

These sessions are for teenagers and adults of any ability on three match quality tables with equipment provided.

Coaching sessions with Level One and Two TTE coaches are available in a block session of 5 weeks, with the next lot due to start in late May.
