It is with great sadness that I write to inform the table tennis community that Rod Robertson passed away on April 5th after a short illness. Players from HTTA may well have played against/with Rod in the Bradford and Yorkshire Leagues. Funeral details are detailed below:

Peter sadly died on Thursday 20th March, he was 97. His funeral is on Monday April 7th at 12.20pm at Stonefall Cemetery.
Peter was involved in table tennis in Harrogate for many years, he ran the sessions at Granby High School on Monday evenings for many years having taken over from Vick and Lou Smith in the 80’s? Peter was very active in bringing players back to table tennis as well as encouraging new ones to join the league. He is fondly remembered.
