The Barrow Tornadoes kicked off their season last weekend with both Scott Crawford and Emily Bolton part of the team.
The league now have 3 teams representing Barrow in the Lancs & Cheshire Vets league playing 1st,2nd and 3rd Division any players that would like to considered for the teams please contact the Keith Dymond of the Town Team selections committee.

The league have accepted Table Tennis Centre Juniors into Division 2 with immediate effect.The team will be playing their home fixtures at the Table Tennis Centre on a Wednesday evening.

February Council Meeting and SGM held at the Table Tennis Centre on Monday 2nd February

Following further discussion the following proposals were made -
The meeting voted in favour of keeping 2 up / 2 down for this season.
The 2nd division fixtures have now been amended to include Furness College who were voted into the league at the December meeting.They have already played some games and the results should soon be entered by Dave Pedley.
At the halfway stage of the National Cadet League, played at Garstang, Furness Boys are currently in 3rd behind Morecambe Cadets and Preston Cadets.
The final 2 rounds of the league are to be played in Garstang on the 8th February and 8th March.
The January League Meeting was held at the TT centre on Monday 5th January. All clubs were represented including the newly formed Furness College.
The meeting finished with the 100 Club Draw.
