PVG Consultation for Clubs 2024

We would like to bring to clubs’ attention the current consultation on the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.  The outcome of the consultation will influence what is put into law and could potentially impact on your ability to attract volunteers to your club/organisations.  The consultation is related to fees, discounting, waivers, and accredited bodies fees (clubs).

This public consultation is open to everyone to respond to.
The consultation is open until 28th May 2024.

The full consultation paper is available to read online at
Scottish Government consultation webpage

There is also a video summarising the proposals

Once you have reviewed the consultations and/or video you should submit your official response

We would appreciate if clubs take time to review this consultation and respond. Volunteers are the life blood of our sport, and we need your support to safeguard our volunteers through responding to the consultation.
