Wakefield League Week 12
Eastmoor C v Eastmoor B
John Murgatroyd, Paul Coletta and Charlie came up against Carl, Paul and Tyrone,
John lost to Carl in the opener 3-1 and PaulC found a very much in form PaulA too hot to handle. Next on was match of the night, possibly of the season that featured 5 sets each decided by just 2 points, 4 of which went to 13-11 with Charlie just getting the better of Tyrone in the 5th. PaulC then went down 3-0 to Carl and John did likewise against Tyrone.
Charlie was unable to repeat his earlier heroics against PaulA and the doubles pair of John/PaulC lost out to Tyrone/PaulA in straight sets. PaulC got close to Tyrone but couldn’t convert it to a win going down 3-0 but Charlie kept the match alive beating Carl 3-0. Finally, John played Paul A who repeated his earlier straight sets wins to register an 8-2 win for the B team
