Match Report

81 year old Bernard Oliver made a superb return to competitive play, to help Colebridge Pasties thrash their club mates Colebridge Bulldogs 9-1.
The ‘Rottweiler’ had comfortable wins over Andy Rowland, John Swinburne and Chris Welsh in a powerful display of hitting.
Mahroof Hussain was also in fine form to record a treble, with Bulldogs picking up their only success with Rowland beating Mike Credland following a tense encounter.
The Hussain/Oliver combination started proceedings with a doubles success over Dean Hicks/John Swinburne.
Pasties certainly laid down an early marker with this result, with surely tougher matches to come.
