Week 3 - Mini Update

D1 - Adey 1 lead C & S 1 / Flam 1 in 2nd/3rd, but C & S 1 pushed to 6-4 by Adey A.
D2 - C & S B lead Flam A & McA, but looking very close throughout.
D3 - As you were, with Flam C & L Green setting the early pace.

Week 2 - Mini Update

Two weeks into the season & top of D1 looking familiar - Adeyfield 1st ahead of Crown & Sceptre 1st, with Flamstead 1st in 3rd! Early days, but seems likely they'll battle it out. Good start for St. George's 1st.
In D2, a fast start by Crown & Sceptre B, all pretty close after that.
In D3, it's Flamstead C & Leverstock Green setting early pace.
All to play for. :)

New Season Started (2018-2019)

The new 2018-2019 season has now started (as of 24th September). This season we have three full divisions, each of eight teams, with two new teams, one each from Adeyfield and Northchurch, but goodbye to Kings Langley Cricket Club (and previously as Chipperfield) in the League, after around 50 years!  See more information in the Handbook (page 24).

See "News" or "Local News" for a fuller introduction.

Continued Use of (old) Celluloid TT Balls

As per the League AGM, last season, there is NO *requirement* to use new plastic TT balls in the League, as (old) celluloid ones remain Approved by ITTF, so can still be used.  League Rules mean we can use (Approved) celluloid TT balls for the rest of our season.

The new, plastic, TT balls are also valid, but current information seems to be that their quality & durability are not (yet) as good, though Home teams may use them if they wish.
