Wokingham is friendly club providing opportunities for adults (aged 18+) to play table tennis at local league standard. Note that we are not catering for juniors at this time.

Why not join us?

Table tennis is an immensely enjoyable sport; it will keep you fit, your reflexes sharp and your brain buzzing!  Our 20 members range from 20 to 70 years of age and with skills from beginner to local premier league standard.  We play midweek evening league matches at Pinewood Hall during the season September to April.

During the off season we practice every other Wednesday from May to August and this is the time we look to recruit new members to fill any gaps in teams. All our teams are full at the moment, but we accept visitors by invitation May and June. Please contact Tim Challender (tchallen66@gmail.com) if you would like to join a practice night particularly if you have previous competitive playing experience.

The full calendar of practice nights is available here

We have:

  • Capacity for four playing tables for practice nights and 2 tables for competition nights
  • Four teams spanning the Wokingham and Bracknell divisions i.e premier, one and two
  • Opportunities to play league and cup matches - up to 20 competitive games per season depending on team selection
  • Table Tennis England Level 2 qualified instructor to provide coaching to help develop your skills to be competitive in the local league matches. Coaching is done informally on practice nights and with some scheduled group coaching over the summer.
