I am sorry to tell you that John Phillips passed away early last week.

John was a lovely man who loved his table tennis and travelled all the way from the other side of Tiverton to play in our Summer League and then a couple of seasons for Allsorts in 2011- 2012.

John died doing what he liked doing best - playing in a match.  He was on a winning streak and had won his first two matches - sat down and quietly passed away.  Rest in Peace John.

I just heard back about John Phillips' funeral arrangements. It will take place at
Taunton Crematorium at 12pm (midday) on the 14th December.

John's daughter and friend have asked me to find out how many people would like to attend so they can order sufficient food at the wake after the service.
So if you'd like to come, please let me know and I will pass it on.
