Match Report

The fixture list pitched the two Tykes teams against each other in the first match of the new season.

Amazingly Steve Metcalfe defeated Paul Hine 3-0 in the first game and with Steve Tyler scoring a maximum, all in straight games, the scores were tied at 4-4.  Unfortunately Pat Darch demolished Steve Metcalfe in the final singles and the two Darchs were too strong for the two Steves in the doubles.
