Torbay Academy 1’s emphatic 10-0 whitewash of Brixham Sharks extends their lead at the top of the first division to 11 points. Just five games were dropped by the Academy, as Patrik Cincala, Kris and Jakub Piwowar dominated throughout. Second-placed NA Batmen saw off the challenge from their Condors club mates 8-2, with Dennis Gibbs unbeaten for the Batmen, and third-placed NA Buzzards defeated Halwell 9-1, with Herbie Sage and Kevin Nicholls unbeaten for the Buzzards.

Second Division leaders NA Eagles, with Ed Crawford and Jim McIvor on top form, defeated Denbury Tykes 8-2. Meanwhile, Torbay Academy 2 kept the heat on the leaders with an impressive 9-1 win over 3^rd placed Brixham Pirates, as Esmeralda Suarez and Warren Ngai got maximums for the Academy side. Man of the match, Colin Harrop, helped his Taverners team to a 6-4 win at Marldon.

Its still very close at the top of the Third Division. Marldon Tykes’ Steve Metcalfe, Steve Tyler and Kevin Ayling’s whitewash win over NA Kestrels leaves them a point in front of the busy NA Hawks, who had a 9-1 win over Brixham Dolphins, thanks to maximums from Matt Cyron and Doug Morgan. The Hawks followed up with a 4-6 reversal against 3^rd placed Torbay Academy 3, with Matt Cooper unbeaten for the Academy. Dawlish Diamonds hit form with Steve Cooper and Bruce Freeman going well as they defeated Torbay Academy 5, 9-1.

Marldon Tykes – Steve Tyler & Steve Metcalfe v Peter Tarjan & Derek Stratton – NA Kestrels

The Hasbeens have a 16 point lead at the top of the Fourth Division, their latest victory being an 8-2 win over Torre Tigers, as Alan Tyrrell took another maximum for the Hasbeens. NA Kites had a close encounter against Torbay Academy 6, the Kites just coming out on top, 6-4, thanks to a fine performance from skipper Lewis Short. A fine all-round team effort from Torre Panthers saw them secure a 7-3 victory over Dawlish Drifters.

A Kacper Piwowar maximum helped Fifth Division leaders Torbay Academy 7, to a 7-3 win over Brixham Swifts. Brixham Seals’ Paul Beckley, Sacha Edwards, and Ian Richards had an impressive 10-0 win over Dawlish Delights, whilst NA Vultures’ Andy Guy was unbeaten as they shared the points with club colleagues NA Merlins.
