The Christmas and new year break has not dented Sheerness East's quest for points as they racked up another 8 at Wyvern, thereby extending their lead at the top of Div One to 13 points. Mitesh Gurung recorded his 5th Player of the Match award in 6 outings only dropping  one leg in his singles to Wyvern's best player, Alastair James. The latter had fine wins against Keith Ludlam and Sean McMillan for his side's 2 points. Keith and Sean won their other two against Scott Cowden and Mark Vickery. The Doubles was the closest game of the night with the visitor's prevailing 11-9 in the decider.
