Upnor B upset the odds with a fine 2nd win of the season against promotion chasing Luton 2. They have found a good signing in Emmanuel Bayode who now has three maximums all achieved against the Division's top sides. Ian Sayer did fight back from 2 legs down against Emmanuel before losing out 11-5 in the 5th but won his other two against Dave Gracey and Marylyn Dudgeon as did teammate Ross Childs. Ross's game against Dave was a marathon 5 legger with one leg seemingly using the old scoring system at 21-19 to the Luton man. Dave then had to go toe to toe with Tony Boarer but this time came out on top 12-10 in the final leg. This was only Tony's 2nd match of the season and he went home empty handed as he also lost to Marylyn. Upnor took the Doubles to secure the 6-4 result.
