Newcomers Wyvern 1, recorded their first Medway League win with an 8-2 result over Chatham Endurance, who had a bye last week. Paul Wilson only dropped the one leg on his way to the Player of the Match Award. Teammate, Alistair James, also went unbeaten but had to come back from 2 legs down to defeat James Townsend. The hosts 3rd player, Sam Nanor, also beat James but lost out in close battles against Kevin Towner and Ben Coake, who was playing his 2nd match of the week having also turned out for Dorset on Tuesday.
