Things were looking difficult for Rainham 2 when Valentines Night visitors, Chatham Endurance, raced into a 5-0 lead. The hosts then rallied winning the 2nd half of the match 3-2. Johann Le starred for Endurance winning all his singles in straight legs. The Rainham fightback was led by Tim Davie who for the 2nd time this season overcame a 2 leg deficit against Trevor Towers. A great achievement seeing as Trevor has only lost 3 matches this season, 2 of which have now been to Tim. Tim also beat Maxwell Antrim as did Mick Hambelton. Endurance have only lost one Doubles and Tim and John Coleman were so close to a victory just losing out 12-10 in the decider in a great ending to the match.
