A 13th straight win for Rainham 1 but the 7 points gained is not enough for them to retain the Div One top spot with Cliffe Woods recording another big win this week. Rikki Clarke once again starred with his 11th Player of the Match Award of the season, only dropping a single leg all evening in singles and Doubles (to Ian Sayer). Ian fared best of the visitors with good wins against Dave Barr in 4 legs and a close 5 leg success over Vinnie McAneney. Ross Childs also beat Vinnie for his sole win as Dave Barr recorded a brace. Luton skipper, Tony Boarer, took legs off both Dave and Vinnie but couldnt add to the scoreline.
