Cliffe Woods extended their lead at the top of Div One to 4 points following this latest 8-2 victory at Rainham 2. Peter Mortley made it 18 out of 18 with another Player of the Match performance. Only Mick Hambelton (against Mike Kemlo) and Tim Davie (against Alan Bridle) were able to get points for the hosts as Woods notched up their 6th consecutive win. John Coleman played well without reward for Rainham, taking a leg off each opponent, but came out 2nd best.
