Sturdee recorded a 2nd win of the season when they visited Div One bottom side Luton 3. The hosts had to wait for the Doubles to get a point on the board as Keith Ball and Mick Barber salvaged the white wash against Mehdi Golchehreh and Andy Marchant. Before this, Sturdee won all the singles, dropping a leg here and there, but no game went to a 5th leg. Dave Bonner completed the triumphant Sturdee line-up and Phil Goldsmith Luton's, but he couldnt alter the 9-1 result.
