What a match this turned out to be with Ark Royal turning out their talisman and arguably their best player,  Jake Buckley. He didn;t disappoint and went away with a terrific maximum, which included a three set win over Alan Longhurst, a fourth set win over Christopher Drury and even more impressive a fourth set triumph of Cliff's star player Matt Emery.  The latter did pick up a brace, even having the audacity to beat Mark Buckley 11,3 one leg!, before winning in four. Mark helped himself to two wins but Stuart Fritter couldn't get on the scoresheet for Chatham, losing to both Chris and Alan, Chris keeping up his good form, with a terrific win. Alan though, had to dig deep, winning two legs 12,10 before prevailing.  The doubles was a tight encounter and what a match to decide the outcome, 13,11, 10,12, 9,11, 11,9, 10,12, a fifth set victory for Mark and Jake against a spirited Chris and Matt
