Martin Hewett was hardly troubled in his maximum and was helped by a terrific win from Jason Adams over Abbie Hurley. The Sherness player lost the first 11,9 but then found some tremendous form to win the next three 11,4, 13,11, 15,13. Dean Chipperfield celebrated the  20th anniversary of his shock medway triumph by picking up a brace, as did the ever reliable Jamie Somerset. Sean Mcmillan has been in quite good form this season but unfortunately couldn't trouble the scorecard on the night. Martin Hewett's decision to sit out the doubles backfired, with Belfast taking it, to secure the victory
