This was a keenly contested battle with the score after 6 games nicely poised at 3-all but Rainham won three of the last four games including the vital doubles to win 6-4.  Vic Hope contributed a fine hat-trick to Rainham's total with Eddie Stevens and Dave Kinslow winning one each when they beat Stewart Day although Stewart nearly upset Dave, only losing 6-11 in the fifth.  Both John Allen and Jon Jennings got doubles for Invincible, both only succumbing to Vic Hope.
