After 4 games it looked like a surprise may be on the cards as both John Clark and Zhong Jiao Tan had beaten Keith Ball and with Danyal Asghar having beaten Mary Ball in a close 5-setter Hector were leading this match 3-1 but then Luton Invicta went into overdrive and reeled in the six remaining games to keep their title aspirations alive although the scoreline could have been closer with Dennis McConkey beating Danyal and  Mary beating Zhong with both games going the distance and being won 11-9 and 15-13 in the fifth respectively.  Luton then took the doubles in 3 straight but the sets were close.
