The star of the night in this match was undoubtedly Phil Hayes of Rainham who accounted for all of Rainhams points in beating John Clark, Zhong Jiao Tan and Liu Yun Guo of Hector.  Unfortunately for Rainham Eddie Stevens and Radoslav Lackan couldn't emulate Phils feats and both ended up winless as the Hector trio won a brace apiece and took the doubles for good measure to run out fairly comfortable winners although Tan was taken to five sets by Radoslav before clinching it in the final set.
