CHATHAM GANNET 6 RAINHAM 83 IV 4
After their reversal of the previous week Gannet returned to winning ways with this close encounter with Rainham 4. There was a treble for Chris Morford, two for Steve Collins and a single for Roger Chipperfield as all three of Gannet beat luckless Bob Mahon. The visitors replied with two from John Caplen, a single for Steve Hayes and a five set doubles win but Rainham fell just short of getting the draw.
