This match between second and first in this division went the way of first placed Furious but didn't do much damage to Invicta's hopes of finishing in first place as they are only 6 points behind Furious with 2 games in hand.  The big story to come out of this match was that James Townsend ended Dennis McConkey's hopes of going unbeaten and then lost to Mick Barber in the final singles.  This was a team effort as Kevin Towner and Alex Low also both got braces, only losing to Dennis.  Mick Barber picked up a solitary point but Keith Ball, who is not happy at the Howard went winless leaving it for Keith and Dennis to win the doubles and limit any damage.
