This was a most impressive win for Luton Invicta as Rainham fielded both Vic Hope and Phil Hayes alongside Tony Parry but they had only a single win when Phil just outlasted Dave Murtagh 11-5 in the fifth. For Luton Keith Ball and Sandra Parkes achieved trebles both with one win in three, one in four and a five set victory with Keith beating Phil and Sandra beating Vic. For good measure Luton also won the doubles in three straight.
