Gannet were led to this win by a fine treble from Sean Durkin which started with a comeback from 2-0 down to beat Vic Hope in 5. Sean then didn't drop another set. He was well backed up by a double from Roger Chipperfield, a single for Steve Collins and a doubles win. For Rainham Vic Hope got two beating Roger and Steve and Radoslav Lackan also beat Steve leaving a luckless Dave Kinslow winless.
