Jack Adams was the only one of the Rainham trio to worry the scorers as both Steve Hayes and Bob Mahon drew blanks in this match with Gannet.  Jack beat both Sean Durkin and Steve Collins and helped Steve Hayes to a welcome doubles win but Sean and Steve Collins grabbed braces and with Chris Morford winning three and thereby depriving Jack of a treble Gannet ran out worthy winners.
