So far in this division all matches have been fairly close and this one was no exception.  Upnor C overcame Rainham 5  6-4 with Brenda Aherne, after a poor season last time, opening her account this time with a treble over the Rainham trio of Tony Parry, Dave Kinslow and Rad Lackan although both Tony and Rad took her the distance.  Brenda was assisted by a double from Colin Hutchins who was only deprived of his treble by Tony 11-9 in the fifth, and Spencer Webb who beat Dave Kinslow to get a single.  Rad beat Spencer to get one for Rainham and Tony went one better, only losing to Brenda but Dave Kinslow found the going too tough and finished winless and it was left to Rainham to take the doubles in straight sets to limit the damage to 6-4.
