Match Report

Having played a rearranged fixture on Monday, Howard 2 turned out for their 2nd game of the week and now find themselves 20 points clear at the top of Div One. They repeated the 9-1 scoreline from the first match against Sturdee 3 as Rob Jaroszynski, Alex Clarke and Roger Morley all recorded maximums to give them a 9-0 lead going into the Doubles. Neil Tydeman and Andy Marchant won this last point to save Sturdee from the whitewash. Jaspal Plaha was closest to winning a singles for Sturdee, making both Alex and Rob play a deciding leg to get their victories against him.
