Back in November these two sides shared the points and this return fixture was also close but the hosts, Boxley 1, just edged it 6-4. Gary Hentschel proved the difference, powering his way to a hatrick, first beating Shahab Raza in the 5th followed by two 4th leg victories over Steve McNally and Marylyn Dudgeon with the latter taking evasive action on a few occasions to avoid the thunderbolts coming from the Hentschel bat ! Barry Roles beat Steve and Marylyn to reverse defeats from the first fixture but lost out to Shahab who bounced back after losing his first 2 games of the evening both in the 5th. Lyndon Gurr had a busy evening going the distance in all of his games beating Shahab but losing to Steve and then to Marylyn in a nail-biter where Marylyn saved 2 match points before getting home 14-12 in the decider. McNally/Raza combined well to take the Doubles and Upnor's 4th point.
