At 4-4 this match could have gone either way but in the end it was finally decided on the Doubles in favour of the away side. This was Rainham's 13th win of the season and keeps them 2nd although Cliffe Woods 2 in 3rd are closing the gap. Alan Morton notched up another treble and Player of the Match Award only dropping one leg to Gareth Fox.  As usual Georgi Atanasov provided good support with a brace (beating Julian Barker and Claire Blackman) bouncing back after losing his first game to Gareth in straight legs. Graham Watts wasnt able to get on the scoresheet for Rainham on this occasion but must have been hopeful for his first singles of the evening when Julian Barker turned up batless ! However, Julian managed to get home and back to retrieve his bat in time for their encounter.
