This match was played on 11/01/23 rearranged from the previous month. Rainham 3 marched to their 7th win of the season and into 2nd spot in Div 1 as they ran out comfortable 8-2 winners against visitor's Sturdee 3. Alan Morton recorded his 7th Player of the Match Award of the season with yet another untroubled treble closely followed by Georgi Atanasov who also didnt drop a leg. Andrew Marchant and Jill Shipton both got on the scoresheet against Graham Watts but Sturdee's 3rd player Michael Leonard went home empty handed in his first Div 1 appearance of the season. The two points gained by Sturdee does move them up to 8th but they have an almost identical record to Rainham 2 who are now 9th, just above the relegation places.
