Match Report

This match was played on 19/12/22 (postponed from 19/09/22). These two sides are battling it out at the wrong end of the table so it was no surprise to see them share the points, a result which was achieved when Upnor took the Doubles at the end of the evening. Prior to this, Neil Tydeman returned to form with his 2nd hatrick of the season. He was given most trouble by Marylyn Dudgeon needing a 5th leg and it was not to be Marylyn's night as she also lost in the 5th to Paul Snaith and in 3 straight to Mike Porter who was making his Div One seasonal debut. Dave Gracey ended a losing run with two good wins and Upnor's 3rd player, Shahab Raza, got his first brace of the season including fighting back from 2 legs down against Paul. He also teamed up with Dave to take the all important Doubles.
