These two sides braved the artic conditions to stage this match but the hosts, Boxley 1, probably wished they stayed at home given the result. Boxley were on an unbeaten run of 5 matches but were 2nd best to a Luton side who are now 5th in the Div One table as we reach the half way point of the season. Ian Sayer played the role of Christmas scrooge not dropping a leg on his way to a comfortable treble and the Player of the Match Award. Teammate Dave Hopkins had to work harder for his maximum, losing legs to each of the Boxley trio, but producing the big shots when needed as well as a few interesting phrases !. Gary Hentschel was the only one of the home side to earn his mince pie beating Ross Childs in 3 straight.
