Bottom club, Sheerness East 2, continue to struggle and this week went down to visitor's Chatham Endurance 8-2. They included new signing Niyi Oyelade in their line-up, and he performed very well beating both Julian Barker and Gareth Fox, the latter from a 2 leg deficit. In fact Niyi was extremely unlucky not to win all 3 as he also took Claire Blackman to a decider before she held on 11-6. Claire had a tough but rewarding night as she also had to go to a 5th leg with Garry Kimber before edging it 11-9 (from 2 legs down) and then beat East's  3rd player, John Barker, to complete a gutsy treble. Julian and Gareth both beat Garry and John. The Doubles had the longest leg of the season so far -  21-19 to Endurance (the scorer must have thought the old scoring days were back). !
