Match Report

Sturdee welcomed back Wayne Youngs and he didn't disappoint, picking up a treble, although he did lose the first leg to John Kane, 11,8, before finding his form, to win in four. He was supported by Tim Vaughan, who also went undefeated. Dave Bonner was outgunned by both John Kane and Alex Clarke, but did have the consolation of defeating Robert Jarazoynski three straight. The doubles was quite tight, with Wayne Youngs and Tim Vaughan losing the first leg 12.10 to John Kane and Alex Clarke before, winning 11,7, 11,7 for a three leg triumph.
