UPNOR B 8 CHATHAM ENDURANCE 2
In this match which had been held over from the first week after the Xmas break Upnor triumphed oiver a very makeshift Endurance squad. There were trebles for Steve McNally and Shahab Raza although Shahab must still be wondering how he got three, coming back from 2 sets to love down against Sean Durkin and beating Mike Carlyle despite winning less points in the match. Spencer Webb got a single and Upnor won the doubles, again coming back from 2-0 down. For Endurance both Sean and Roger Chipperfield beat Spencer but Mike completed a miserable evening by going pointless in spite of taking both Spencer and Shahab to five.
