Chatham Hector became the first team not beaten by Gannet this season when they fought their way to a creditable draw. For Gannet Jacob Goodchild continued to show what a prospect he is becoming with another treble but John Clark and Danyal Asghar could only register singles. For Hector John Allen drew a blank but Shaune Hollis and Simon Fever both won 2 each in beating John and Danyal. It was left to Shaune and Simon to win the doubles and beat John and Jacob in a match where the Hector duo grew in confidence as the game went on and eventually won 10-12,11-8,11-5,11-1.
