Shahab Raza was Upnor's saviour on Monday night as he compiled a creditable treble and also partnered Colin Hutchins to a doubles victory. With Colin gaining a win at the expense of Steve Hayes Upnor got what was an unlikely draw as Brenda Aherne drew a blank. For Rainham Steve Hayes got a solitary point against Brenda and John Caplen and Bob Mahon both got doubles by beatiing Brenda and Colin but couldn't make any impression on Player of the Match Shahab.
